от колонии к наЦии и снова к колонии»: траектория наЦионального раЗвития канады в дискурсе канадскиХ интеллектуалов середины XX в.В статье рассматривается динамика коннотаций понятия «колония» в интеллектуальном дискурсе Канады в период с конца 1940-х до начала 1970-х гг.в контексте дискуссий о траектории национального развития страны.Если в знаменитой книге «От колонии к нации» (1946) Артура Лоуэра статус британской колонии представал в судьбе Канады важной и неизбежной ступенью на пути к обретению статуса независимой нации североамериканского континента, то в новых реалиях конца 1950-х -начала 1970-х гг.на смену этим представлениям пришла уверенность, что страна стремительно возвращается к статусу колонии, на этот раз -американской, а ее прошлый колониальный опыт и сам статус колонии во многом драматизировались и переосмыслялись в постмодернистском ключе, как отношения власти и подчинения, агрессора и жертвы, центра и периферии, создавая новый национальный нарратив.
