Abstract
Indikasi keberhasilan pada suatu proyek konstruksi terletak pada sejauh mana sistem manajemen kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja telah diterapkan dengan baik pada proyek konstruksi tersebut. Sistem manajemen kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja fokus pada akar penyebab dari kecelakaan, perilaku, dan cara melakukan pekerjaan.Pemilihan titik tinjau pada penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan tingginya pembangunan konstruksi gedung di daerah khusus ibukota Jakarta.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan penrapan sistem manajemen kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (SMK3) pada suatu proyek Gedung bertingkat di wilayah Jakarta dengan menggunakan faktor dan indikator yang lebih lengkap dari penelitian sebelumnya. Metode penelitian penelitian ini dengan menyebarkankuisioner kepada 30 kontraktor bangunan gedung bertingkat di Jakarta dengan responden sebanyak 80 orang pada bagian Health and SafetyEnvironment(HSE). Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komitmen pimpinanterhadap SMK3 mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhahap keberhasilan penerapan SMK3 pada proyek konstruksi bangunan Gedung yaitu sebesar60,5%.
