En el área de la educación, en los últimos veinte años y particularmente en el contexto anglosajón, el uso de la "Representación etnográfica" como metodología cualitativa de investigación se ha incrementado notablemente, sobre todo en países como Canadá, Australia, Inglaterra y Estados Unidos2. La idea de vincular al Proyecto Uaque la “Representación Etnográ ca”, parte de las similitudes en propósitos, orientaciones y temáticas, así como de las posi- bilidades investigativas, metodológicas y creativas que la etnografía represen- tada ofrece a la consolidación de los sentidos de las cualidades éticas, estéticas y afectivas de las prácticas pedagógicas de la convivencia que Uaque propone.
