Apres avoir ete reconnu et celebre comme l'ecrivain quebecois national par excellence - il etait celui qui avait nomme et cartographie le pays dans la diversite de ses provinces, celui qui en avait rassemble les grandes figures et les mythes fondateurs tout en les deconstruisant, celui qui avait dresse contre l'Histoire officielle, une chronique irreverencieuse, au point que certains n'auront voulu etenir en lui que la commere du village voila que, depuis quelques annees, c'est 'etrangete des textes de Ferron qui commence de plus en plus a etre remarquee par les ritiques, a proportion precisement que ceux-ci prennent leurs distances avec ne lecture etroitement socio-politique qui avait pese sur son oeuvre, comme sur ien d'autres d'ailleurs.
