Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Background: In North America, upwards of 59% of postsecondary students experience food insecurity and there has been little study of students attending community college. The goal of this was to find out the prevalence of food insecurity among a largely international cohort of students attending a community college in Toronto, Canada. Methods: Students (N = 824) were surveyed using questions from the USDA Food Security Survey Module to find out their level of food insecurity Results: 334 students participated in the survey (41% participation rate). The overall rate of food insecurity was found to be 77.2%, including 40.4% with moderate food insecurity and 36.8% with severe food insecurity. Conclusions: There is a need to address food insecurity among students attending community college.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
