Dinamite®, cuya materia activa es Acequinocil al 16,4% p/v y formulado como suspension concentrada (SC), es el nuevo acaricida de Certis que actua eficazmente sobre todo el ciclo biologico de los acaros tetraniquidos. Dinamite®, debido a esta nueva materia activa y modo de accion, es una excelente herramienta para el uso en programas de Manejo Integrado de Plagas (IPM) y programas anti-resistencias, ya que es respetuoso con la mayoria de insectos beneficiosos y pertenece a un grupo IRAC (Comite de Accion contra las Resistencias a Insecticidas/Acaricidas) diferente y unico al resto de acaricidas. Esta registrado en naranjo, mandarino, manzano, peral, melocotonero, nectarino y tomate y berenjena al aire libre. Dispone de LMRs (Limite Maximo de Residuos) en la UE (incluye Suiza y Noruega), Estados Unidos, Canada y Japon. Entre los acaros que viven en las plantas cultivadas, algunos son de habitos fitofagos, alimentandose directamente de la savia de las plantas y causando danos muy importantes. En nuestro pais se estima que entre el 15% y el 20% de los danos que producen las plagas en los cultivos estan causados por acaros. Para el control de estos acaros es importante disponer de productos fitosanitarios que presenten buenas eficacias y a la vez que sean respetuosos sobre los artropodos beneficiosos y, concretamente, sobre los acaros pertenecientes a la familia de los fitoseidos, depredadores mas comunes de los acaros que atacan a la mayoria de especies vegetales. Actua mediante el bloqueo de la cadena respiratoria de transferencia de electrones, uniendose al centro UQ del Complejo Ⅲ e impidiendo, por tanto, la produccion de ATP en las mitocondrias del acaro (IRAC 20 B, unico en este grupo), a diferencia de los acaricidas METI (IRAC 21) que inhiben el complejo I, o los acaricidas derivados de beta-ketonitrilos (IRAC 25) que inhiben el complejo II.
