Abstract
Cet article présente les résultats d’une étude québécoise portant sur les constellations familiales de vingt et un enfants de mères lesbiennes conçus grâce au sperme d’un donneur connu, ainsi que des enfants de ces hommes. L’objectif est de comprendre les représentations de la famille et des liens de parenté qu’ont ces enfants. La méthodologie déployée s’appuie principalement sur une cartographie circulaire comme outil d’analyse sensible, permettant aux enfants d’identifier les personnes faisant partie de leur vie. Les résultats montrent que les représentations du donneur et sa place dans la constellation familiale varient selon l’enfant, en fonction de son âge, de la terminologie utilisée par ses mères pour désigner le donneur et de l’intégration de l’histoire de sa venue au monde.
