Abstract
"Au-dessous du volcan" est le nom des rencontres littéraires dont la première édition s'est tenue à l'Institut français de Goma (Nord-Kivu, RD Congo) en juin 2018. Trois jours durant, des auteurs de la région, mais aussi de Belgique, de France ou du Canada, s'y sont rassemblés pour discuter de l'« écriture du conflit ». Six écrivains reconnus (Guillaume Jan, Blaise Ndala, Jean-Pierre Orban, Élise Rida Musomandera, Roland Rugero et Joëlle Sambi) sont venus présenter leurs oeuvres et débattre dans le cadre de quatre tables rondes retranscrites dans cet ouvrage. Douze auteurs "en herbe" ont participé à des ateliers d'écriture pour y retravailler leurs textes, qui paraissent ici dans leur version définitive.
