Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The migratory phenomenon of unaccompanied minors and their transition to adult life in host countries remains a challenge for European societies in general and for Spanish society in particular. It is a heterogeneous migratory actor that makes its study and analytical treatment. This article investigates this topic by exploring the related circumstances in the process of guardianship of unaccompanied foreign minors arriving in Spain, and their access to the labor market when they reach the age of majority. With a mixed methodology design, secondary sources that identify gaps in their passage to the majority of age are analyzed. It concludes with the proposal that the extuted youth conform to their own analytical category for social policies to guide and develop strategies and programs for full coverage of their needs.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
