Situado en Edmonton, provincia de Alberta (Canada), el nuevo puente de Walterdale, sobre el rio North Saskatchewan, es un arco formado por dos costillas metalicas inclinadas hacia el interior de 230 m de vano y de 43 metros de altura. Su tablero mixto de acero y hormigon, de 22,40 metros de ancho, esta formado por dos vigas prismaticas longitudinales y cuelga de unas pendolas cada 8 m. La pasarela de uso compartido, con una seccion prismatica de acero, se une al arco mediante pendolas y al tablero a traves de unas vigas transversales metalicas que se apoyan sobre sus vigas longitudinales.
