Abstract
La lecture de Martin Heidegger sur l’oeuvre d’art et la poétique de l’existence de Paul Ricoeur, élaborée à partir de son herméneutique des symboles, de la métaphore et des récits, ouvrent un champ immense à une pensée théologique qui veut d’abord se mettre à l’écoute du langage symbolique, poétique et littéraire. Plusieurs théologiens se sont aventurés sur cette voie depuis quelques décennies, mais la théologie demeure encore sous l’emprise de la théorie ou de la praxis et peu ouverte aux ressources de la poiesis. L’étude ici présentée reprend un ouvrage de J.-P. Manigne sur la Poétique de la Foi, des années 1970, et la thèse d’A. Thomasset sur une Poétique de la Morale, des années 1990, montrant comment la raison poétique a provoqué le discours théologique dans la seconde moitié du xxe siècle. Elle fait partie d’une recherche encore en cours, consacrée à d’autres contributions du début du xxie siècle.
