Abstract
Cinq cas d’étude sont présentés dans des régions d’altitude de l’Asie méridionale peuplées de minorités ethniques (Inde, Népal, Chine, Laos, Vietnam), pour analyser la portée des discours, actions et transformations de la gouvernance via le paysage. Comment le paysage devient-il, par le biais de la mise en tourisme, « une manière de voir » les territoires, comment suscite-t-il une gouvernance renouvelée de ceux-ci ? Après avoir montré comment la mise en ressource du paysage entraîne l’élaboration d’une culture du paysage via le tourisme, nous verrons que le paysage occupe une place diversifiée dans les processus de gouvernance territoriale, pour terminer sur une typologie croisant conscience du paysage, processus de gouvernance et mise en tourisme.
