Abstract
Cita-cita menuju kesejahteraan bangsa yang dibebankan pada wilayah Kabupaten Merauke sebagai satu kesatuan wilayah koridor ekonomi Papua – Kep. Maluku adalah sangat berat tetapi harus dilaksanakan. Untuk mencapai cita-cita MP3EI 2011-2025, maka dibutuhkan informasi yang sifatnya mendasar dan terukur terkait sejauh mana kemampuan lokal merauke melayani aksesibilitas penduduknya dalam melakukan aktifitas sosial ekonominya. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengukur variasi aksesibilitas fisik internal Merauke dan eksternalnya, dengan melakukan observasi, survey, dan wawancara serta dilakukan analisa pemetaan dan persamaan Hansen. Nilai aksesibilitas internal urutan pertama adalah Distrik Merauke, kedua Tanah Miring, ketiga Semangga. Kelompok tertinggi ini posisinya sebagai pusat ibukota kabupaten dan sekitarnya. Menyusul urutan ke empat adalah distrik Kurik. Secara terpisah Distrik Kurik membentuk pusat kegiatan di sebelah barat utara kota Merauke. Distrik aksesibilitas terendah adalah Distrik Waan, Kaptel, Ilwayab, Tubang, dan Tabonji. Jangkauan akses eksternal 31 kabupapten meliputi: Mappi, Asmat, Bovendigoel , Jayapura, Sorong, Makassar, Jakarta, Ambon, Yogyakarta, Mimika, Kaimana, Tual, Morotai, Fak-Fak, Manggarai Barat, Cirebon, Semarang, Kota Waringin Timur, Tanah Bumbu, Bima, Flores Timur, Kupang, Alor, Maluku Tenggara Barat, Kepulauan Aru, Maluku Tengah, Badung. 31 kabupaten terkoneksi dalam 17 wilayah provinsi berikut : Papua, Papua Barat, Sulawesi selatan, Jawa timur, DKI Jakarta, DI Yogyakarta, Sulawesi Tenggara, Maluku, Maluku Utara, NTT, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan, NTB, Bali. 17 propinsi berada pada 8 lingkup kepulauan sebagai berikut : Papua, Sulawesi, Jawa, Maluku, Kalimantan, Halmahera, Sunda Kecil, Banda.
