Die Problematik schwankender Zuschauerzahlen und ein starker werdender Wettbewerb auf dem Freizeitmarkt stellt das Management von Profi-Clubs vor die Frage, mit welchem Instrumentarium Zuschauer langfristig an ihre Clubs gebunden werden konnen. Diese Frage greift das vorliegende Buch auf und versucht aufzuzeigen, welche Instrumente im professionellen Teamsport zur langfristigen Bindung von Kunden zur Verfugung stehen und welche Besonderheiten bei der Gestaltung und Anwendung der einzelnen Instrumente zu berucksichtigen sind. Dazu werden die Ziele und Wirkungen der Kundenbindung auf den professionellen Teamsport ubertragen und die Besonderheiten der Kundenbindung im Teamsport herausgearbeitet. Am Beispiel der Vancouver Canucks, ein Branchenprimus innerhalb der National Hockey League, werden konkrete Kundenbindungsmasnahmen aus der Praxis des nordamerikanischen Profisports vorgestellt und analysiert. Dieses Werk wurde fur Leser aus der Sportmanagement-Praxis und -Lehre konzipiert und wendet sich in erster Linie an Manager/innen im deutschen Sportbusiness, Studenten sportokonomischer Studiengange und alle Sportmarketinginteressierten.
