Abstract
Cilem teto prace je nejprve analyzovat tradicni domorodý život v Australii a Kanadě, jmenovitě jednu konkretni oblast, a to postaveni a různe role žen v těchto před-kontaktnich spolecnostech a jejich variabilitu v zavislosti na heterogenitě australskeho a kanadskeho životniho prostředi. Domorode ženy vykonavaly řadu funkci, z nichž elementarnich je těchto třinact: Dcera/Panna, Sexualni objekt/Prostitutka, Manželka, Matka, Tchýně, Vdova, Sběracka, Lovkyně/Rybařka, Žena v domacnosti, „Mužatka“, Samanka/Lecitelka, Organizatorka/Ucastnice naboženských ritualů a Moudra stařena. Druhým cilem teto prace je podrobný rozbor dvou australských a dvou kanadských domorodých filmů a nasledne odhaleni, s jakou přesnosti a objektivitou tyto filmy ztvarňuji role domorodých žen, objeveni jakýchkoli zkresleni a odchylek od skutecneho života domorodých obyvatel a v neposledni řadě zjistěni, zda původ režisera hraje rozhodujici roli ve věrohodnosti a pravdomluvnosti jeho filmu. Ctyřmi analyzovanými filmy jsou: tasmanský film Johna Honeyho Manganinnie, australský film Rolfa de Heera Ten Canoes, kanadsko-australska koprodukce Bruce Beresforda Black Robe a kanadský film Zachariase Kunuka Atanarjuat: the Fast Runner.
