Ce contenu est une compilation d'articles de l'encyclopedie libre Wikipedia. L'Ordre du Temple (OTS), autrefois nomme Ordre International Chevaleresque de Tradition Solaire, etait un groupe esoterique neo-templier fonde en 1984 a Geneve par Luc Jouret. L'OTS est considere comme une secte par le rapport de la commission d'enquete parlementaire de 1995, et principalement actif en France, en Suisse et au Canada. Ce groupe a ete implique dans des affaires de suicides collectifs dans ces trois pays. Selon Peronnik (un pseudonyme recouvrant plusieurs auteurs appartenant a la meme ecole spirituelle) dans le livre Pourquoi la Resurgence de du Temple? Tome Premier : Le Corps 1975, les buts de l'Ordre Souverain du Temple Solaire etaient au nombre de sept :Retablir la notion exacte d'Autorite et de Pouvoir dans le monde. Affirmer la primaute du spirituel sur le temporel. Redonner a l'homme la conscience de sa dignite. Aider l'humanite en son passage.
