Abstract
L’exclusion de candidats à la dernière élection présidentielle française du débat diffusé sur TF1 le 20 mars 2017 a relancé la question du traitement médiatique des « petits candidats », donnant lieu à une production de discours à propos de la médiatisation de la campagne, des relations des médias avec les acteurs politiques et, plus largement, du rôle des médias au sein de la vie démocratique. Les auteurs qualifient ce processus de méta-médiatisation. Le corpus regroupe l’ensemble des discours relevant de l’échange polémique entre Nicolas Dupont-Aignan et le groupe TF1 à propos du débat dont le candidat est exclu au profit des cinq candidats en tête dans les sondages.
