Les auteurs remercient les lecteurs anonymes et les rédacteurs en chef du numéro spécial pour leurs commentaires constructifs. 2 Article soumis et accepté dans le cadre du dossier « Le management des coopératives. Entre spécificités et renouveau ». menée auprès de 984 répondants dans 10 pays et 5 continents étudie la capacité des principes du mouvement coopératif à fonder un capital de marque. L’engagement dans le milieu et la démocratie différencient le modèle coopératif. Les principes associés à une conception socialement responsable contribuent plus fortement au consentement à payer que ceux inhérents à la conception originelle de service aux membres. Cet écart s’accentue dans les coopératives qui n’intègrent pas les consommateurs comme parties prenantes et se réduit en Amérique du Nord.
