Abstract
グルコース濃度依存的なインスリン分泌促進・血糖降下作用をもつDPP-4阻害薬は，単独使用では低血糖リスクがなく，体重増加をきたしにくいなどの特徴があり，比較的安全で効果的な経口血糖降下薬として，わが国での糖尿病治療に広く用いられている。その一方で，膵外作用による有害事象の報告も集積されつつある。有害事象の例として，水疱性類天疱瘡，腸閉塞，間質性肺炎，関節リウマチ，RS3PE症候群，急性膵炎などが挙げられ，添付文書でも注意喚起が行われている。DPP-4阻害薬内服中の有害事象についての知識を備え，リスクファクターを理解したうえで，有害事象の早期発見・対処に努め，DPP-4阻害薬を安全に使用する必要がある。
