Abstract
Cet article propose de discuter, avec le cadrage théorique par la justice environnementale dans un contexte postcolonial, des stratégies mises en œuvre par une population culturellement majoritaire pour lutter contre une dégradation environnementale. Les résultats présentés dans cet article sont issus de plusieurs enquêtes menées depuis 2011 sur le risque requin. D’abord, nos résultats posent la question de la justice distributive pour l’accès aux aménités environnementales : au nom de quels principes aider ou non une population, fut-elle jugée privilégiée, à maintenir un accès à une aménité environnementale, accès qui ne priverait pas – sur le papier – une autre population de ses droits ? D’autre part, nos résultats posent la question de l’éthique développée par la justice environnementale : doit-elle nécessairement être pro-environnementaliste ?
