Cet article présente une initiative pédagogique de cantine scolaire mise en place dans un centre de formation générale des adultes de la Commission scolaire du Lac-Saint-Jean. Pour favoriser le développement de compétences sociales et professionnelles dans un cadre structuré et sécurisant proche du marché du travail, les élèves sont amenés à s’impliquer et à offrir un service de cantine dans leur centre de formation. Le contexte, les étapes de mise en place, les obstacles et les retombées de cette initiative y sont détaillés soulignant le potentiel pédagogique et la pertinence de cette initiative.
