Abstract
La géographie scolaire française privilégie l’étude de territoires à la petite échelle, selon des modalités qui relèvent d’une pédagogie transmissive. A rebours de ces pratiques, l’expérimentation présentée ici mobilise la cartographie sensible et participative pour initier d’autres modalités d’apprentissage, au plus près des expériences spatiales des élèves. Après avoir présenté la méthodologie et les objectifs de ce dispositif pédagogique, cet article analyse la manière dont les élèves s’en sont emparés, à partir d’un terrain qu’ils expérimentent au quotidien, leur propre lycée.
