Abstract
Las memorias del movimiento en arte moderno de Stein en Paris aparecen en variostrabajos suyos. En The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas, Stein muestra su vulnerabiliada deforma manifiesta al exhibir sus estilos y formas de vida, y sus opiniones parciales. El lector,a través de Alice, conoce el entorno cubista y sus principales reresentantes. Aún más,cuando Stein escribe The Autobiography, ésta se aparta del estilo literario que haempleado anteriormente. Para ello, elije un género nuevo, y de alguna manera, utiliza unestilo nuevo y trascendental. Este artículo examina la técnica que Stein utiliza en susmemorias, y la dinámica en relación con su yo, su identidad y la narración.
