Cet article présente deux dépôts de matériel en position secondaire mis au jour en 2008 et 2010 dans la partie nord du secteur Pi de Malia, où la principale phase reconnue correspondait à l’horizon de destruction du Quartier Mu (MM IIB). Or la céramique de ces dépôts appartient à une phase antérieure que l’on peut placer au MM IIA, une phase encore très mal documentée à Malia. Bien qu’il s’agisse manifestement de dépotoirs et qu’aucune structure architecturale ne leur soit clairement associée, leur publication apparaît ainsi utile à la définition de la chrono-typologie céramique maliote. La présentation des autres catégories matérielles composant ces dépôts apporte en outre un modeste éclairage sur les modes de vie à Malia pendant la période protopalatiale.
