We consider some very strong statements about the distribution of primes which can be deduced from the assumption of the existence of exceptional zeros of Dirichlet L-functions. In this paper we consider the distribution of primes in arithmetic progressions and show that, under such an assumption, one can deduce the expected asymptotics in certain cases where the modulus of the progression is so large that even the GRH tells us nothing.
