Abstract
Cada vez mAis empresas estAin optando por ampliar sus horizontes para ofrecer sus productos o servicios en el extranjero. La necesidad de exportaciA³n surge de la situaciA³n econA³mica actual, no solo en la regiA³n sino tambiA©n en el resto de paAses. Si bien la demanda interna estAi estancada, el comercio exterior es a menudo la mejor alternativa para salvaguardar la economAa que evoca la supervivencia de la empresa. El comercio de un producto mAis allAi de las fronteras nacionales implica requisitos o demandas en los cuales los riesgos y los costos deben manejarse de forma eficiente. El comercio internacional presenta ventajas interesantes, pero tambiA©n algunas limitaciones para llegar a todos los lugares y potenciales clientes. En este punto, Su combinaciA³n o intermodalidad se centre en enfatizar el nexo entre empresas y Cadenas intermodales donde se produce el comercio y que contrarrestan la agravaciA³n del desempleo por el recorte laboral. (Appletton, Knight, Song, & Qingjie, 2002). Este documento muestra las opciones para comercio de mercancAas desde Ecuador al mercado Canadiense y estudia un caso particular, para ser utilizado como una guAa para las empresas interesadas en las exportaciones.
