Abstract
Le heavy metal comme cas limite le temps, si l'on en croit les tableaux des pratiques culturelles des Français (Donnat, 2009).7 La dimension péjorative du metal explique sans doute aussi qu'elle ait été longtemps délaissée par les popular music studies qui mettaient plutôt à l'honneur le punk et les courants « indépendants » du rock ou, plus tard, les musiques électroniques ou même le rap (Frith, 2019).8 « Amateurs » au sens pragmatique de Hennion, et al. (2000).10 Y compris EELV (10%).11 Hors « non réponses » et « autres » (3,8 % et 7,5 % respectivement de la population totale interrogée).Par ailleurs ceux qui penchaient pour le Front de Gauche, le NPA, Lutte Ouvrière, ou le PC représentaient 37 % de ceux qui se sentaient à gauche, et ceux qui penchaient pour le FN, représentaient 30 % de ceux qui se sentaient à droite, soit 7 % de ceux qui exprimaient une opinion.
