Abstract
Le numérique fait partie intégrante du monde et du quotidien des adolescents, les réseaux sociaux étant des espaces qui répondent particulièrement à divers enjeux de l’adolescence. Cependant, les nouvelles technologies offrent un nouvel espace où les jeunes sont susceptibles de subir et agir des cyberviolences sexuelles et sexistes, qui peuvent prendre place dans les relations amoureuses. En outre, l’espace virtuel n’est pas neutre en termes de genre. Ce symposium propose à partir de recherches menées en Belgique et au Québec sur les cyberviolences sexuelles subies et perpétrées par les jeunes d’en présenter les spécificités en termes de victimisation et perpétration chez les filles et les garçons adolescent(e)s et en transition adultes.
