Abstract
A Educação Ambiental surge como possibilidade de informar pessoas sobre condições e problemáticas ambientais mundiais. A regulamentação do ensino dessa temática na escola abre a perspectivas de desenvolver nos estudantes a capacidade de compreender e refletir sobre as questões ambientais. O presente trabalho buscou entender a perspectiva dos alunos de escolas “tradicionais” sobre a disciplina. Tendo como procedimentos: levantamento bibliográfico, documental e pesquisa de campo e como método, o estudo de caso. As informações colhidas constataram que o acesso dos discentes a temática são: livros, <em>Internet</em>, Jornais/revistas, Escola, Televisão e Palestras, confirmando a baixa participação das escolas sobre o tema.
