Crime au féminin dans le roman africain francophone : l’exemple de Kouty, mémoire de sang d’Aïda Mady Diallo

Abstract
Cet article propose une lecture du crime au féminin dans le roman africain contemporain à partir de l’ouvrage de Chrystèle Bellard sur la criminalité féminine et de travaux sur la vengeance. Il prend appui sur le roman Kouty, mémoire de sang d’Aïda Mady Diallo. Si le crime au féminin est assez rare dans la littérature francophone d’Afrique, l’on observe, avec ce roman de Diallo, une écriture qui mêle récit historique, mémoriel et policier. En effet, ce roman propose une expérience particulière de l’écriture policière qui relève d’une vision singularisée de l’individu confronté aux violences et au désir de vengeance. Nous montrerons que, dans Kouty, mémoire de sang, cette vengeance fondatrice permet non seulement de confronter les valeurs : tolérance et intolérance, et amour et haine, mais soumet aussi la démarche de Kouty aux souvenirs tragiques de la disparition de ses parents.
