Cette recherche porte sur les discours réflexifs produits par des étudiants en formation initiale à l’enseignement de l’éducation physique, dans le cadre d’un dispositif de formation en alternance cherchant à orienter leur réflexivité vers des problématiques didactiques. Ces discours réflexifs se caractérisent par (a) une certaine normativité, inhérente à l’approche « normative » du développement professionnel sous-jacente au dispositif, et (b) une forte présence de dimensions didactiques, avec toutefois une prise en compte limitée de l’activité motrice des élèves dans les situations d’apprentissage complexes. Ces résultats soulignent l’intérêt de programmer, dès la formation initiale, des dispositifs de formation en alternance incluant un outillage conceptuel en didactique. Ils pointent également la nécessité d’une formation spécifique à la lecture de l’activité des élèves.
