La psychoéducation est-elle exportable ? Basé sur l’expérience d’un essai récent d’adaptation et de développement de la psychoéducation au Chili, cet article se penche sur le contexte et les conditions dans lesquels s’est déroulé ce projet ainsi que les défis et les obstacles auxquels ont dû faire face les acteurs. L’analyse de cette expérience a permis de dégager deux facteurs importants entourant la mise en place d’un projet psychoéducatif dans un contexte extérieur au Québec : (1) un esprit de collaboration et de co-construction est nécessaire de la part de tous les acteurs impliqués et (2) l’emphase sur la formation des éducateurs de 1ière ligne constitue une condition sine qua non pour la mise en place d’une intervention de qualité. Finalement, trois contextes internationaux sont envisageables pour l’exportation de la psychoéducation.
