Abstract
La rflexion sociale, donc documentaire, artistique, narrative, religieuse ou juridique sur le pouvoir de sduction des femmes a une trs longue histoire, laquelle il ne serait pas possible de rendre justice dans le seul contexte de notre introduction au prsent numro de la revue Recherches fministes. Cristallise dans l'icne ambigu et malheureuse qu'est ve dans l'histoire de la cration biblique, la sexualit fminine a t construite dans l'imaginaire chrtien comme un repoussoir, tel un objet intraitable qui devait faire l'objet d'encadrement, d'interdits, de contrle (Foucault 2018). Source de tentation, de dcadence morale, de danger, de perte de soi pour l'homme, la femme sduisante ou sexualise a peupl l'imaginaire occidental, notamment la cration mythologique, les rcits, l'iconographie, les mesures juridiques, les normes religieuses et les vagues de panique morale (des sorcires l'hypersexualisation) qui parsment l'histoire des socits europennes et nord-amricaines 1 .
