Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo tratar questões que relacionem gênero e feminismo e, a partir disso, compreender as representações do movimento feminista na perspectiva de fiéis e ex fiéis de igrejas protestantes de uma cidade do interior de Minas Gerais. O presente estudo foi estruturado a partir dos pilares da pesquisa qualitativa. A coleta de dados ocorreu através da realização de quinze entrevistas semi-estruturadas realizadas com indivíduos de acordo com sua trajetória religiosa. Para a análise utilizamos a técnica de análise de conteúdo. Observamos que os avanços conquistados ao longo da luta feminista foram descritos por ambos os grupos. Além disso, são notáveis as semelhanças de situações as quais o grupo pesquisado, como um todo, é exposto cotidianamente, quando colocados na categoria a qual pertencem: mulheres. É certo, todavia, que esta pesquisa não esgota as possibilidades da temática pesquisada, abrindo caminhos demais trabalhos inseridos na lacuna gênero, feminismo, religião e seus reflexos sociais.
