Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

EnglishThe Ordovician graptolite Paradelograptus onubensis is a very delicate multibranched species, with stipes of 0.3 mm in maximum thickness, and up to five orders of dichotomies. Its name came from its original discovery SE of Canaveral de Leon in the province of Huelva (founded by the Phoenicians as ‘Onuba’, for which ‘onubense’ is its demonym). Since its first description, the species has been identified and described from Sweden, Canada, Argentina and China, with a range of upper Tremadocian–lower Floian, and corresponds to the deep pandemic graptolite biotope. The stratotype of P. onubensis is placed in a roadcut within the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park, Andalusia. In the last 40 years, the locality has been damaged several times by improvement works on the regional road HU-8128. A protection of this important fossil locality, bearing fossiliferous beds extremely unusual at the scale of SW Europe, is hereby suggested for its protection and in-depth future study.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
