Abstract
De par ses grands espaces et ses paysages diversifiés, le Québec est riche d’activités de pleine nature qui soutiennent une économie touristique profitant aux régions. Cependant, de manière générale, les élus, les professionnels et même la population constatent une pénurie de main-d’œuvre dans le pays, toutes activités professionnelles confondues. Notre étude s’intéresse plus précisément à l’industrie touristique et à la région de Charlevoix où le tourisme est un des principaux secteurs économiques du territoire, avec l’agriculture (foresterie). [...] Ce travail répond aux interrogations portées par les élus et les professionnels du tourisme (hébergements, restaurations, Office de Tourisme) sur les difficultés que rencontre le territoire à attirer des professionnels dans l’industrie touristique.
