Abstract
Cette étude est issue d’un questionnement au sujet de la phénoménologie de la mémoire que présente la première partie de l’ouvrage de Paul Ricœur, La mémoire, l’histoire, l’oubli: comment se fait-il que son auteur, pourtant un grand philosophe du récit, omet à cette occasion de considérer la dimension narrative du souvenir? Après avoir proposé une explication de cette omission étonnante, nous tentons de reconstruire, à partir des indications qu’offre de manière dispersée l’œuvre de Ricœur, l’esquisse d’une phénoménologie-herméneutique appropriée à la liaison qui, selon nous, unit de manière essentielle le récit et la mémoire personnelle.
