Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

LGBTQ2-S-phobia is still present within physical education (PE) classes, school sports
\nand community sports. According to Denison and Kitchen (2015), one in five participants
\nreported that PE classes are the most homophobic sporting environment. This mixed method
\nretrospective survey seeks to examine the effects of LGBTQ2-S-phobia in high school PE
\nclasses, school and community sports on future sports and physical activity participation along
\nwith identifying whether gender and geographical locations are factors in the experiences in
\nwhich individuals witnessed or had LGBTQ2-S-phobic events in these environments. Results
\nshow that PE classes in high schools represent a higher proportion of LGBTQ2-S-phobia than
\nschool sports and community sports. Furthermore, those who identify as male and that attended
\nhigh school in Northern Ontario were faced with higher levels of LGBT2-S-phobia. Some
\nexperiences in these specific geographical areas discouraged some individuals to pursue physical
\nactivity and sports participation.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
