Abstract
Este estudo configura-se em um experimento controlado com o objetivo de observar o comportamento acústico de sílabas CCV, ainda em aquisição, produzidas por uma criança com quatro anos e meio de idade e que apresenta as demais estruturas silábicas adquiridas. A estrutura CCV foi analisada na produção de palavras e de logatomas, a fim de verificar possíveis diferenças acústicas na produção da sílaba nesses dois contextos. Seguindo os pressupostos relativos à fonologia baseada no uso (BYBEE, 2001), o experimento elicia a produção de palavras muito frequentes, assim como de logatomas, estes com frequência de ocorrência igual a zero. Os resultados apontam que a frequência de tipo (C + [ɾ] –o não-marcado)se mostra relevante. As vogais de apoio se apresentam com qualidade consideravelmente distinta a das vogais núcleo correspondentes na maioria dos dados. A frequência de ocorrência mostrou-se pertinente quanto à duração relativa, uma vez que as sílabas CCVdas palavras muito frequentes apresentaram duração menos elevada quando comparada a dos logatomas.
