La politique cannabis fait aujourd'hui, en Suisse comme ailleurs, l'objet de vifs débats. Tandis que les Pays-Bas faisaient jusqu'à très récemment figure d'exception en matière de tolérance pour la vente et possession de petites quantités de cannabis à usage récréatif, on assiste depuis quelques années à un changement plus profond de politique vis-à-vis de cette substance dans une succession de régions et de pays. Dix États ont désormais légalisé et régulé le cannabis aux États-Unis, auxquels s'ajoutent d'autres modèles comme celui du Canada ou celui de l'Uruguay. Ce recueil de connaissances, mandaté par la Commission fédérale pour les questions liées aux addictions (CFLA), a pour objectif de décrire et d'analyser les modèles de régulation mis en place jusqu'ici dans six pays (les Pays-Bas, l'Espagne, les États-Unis, le Canada, l'Uruguay, et la Jamaïque) pour mieux comprendre les questions et enjeux que soulèvent les nouvelles politiques liées au cannabis.
