SUIVI ET ANALYSE D'UN GLISSEMENT ACTIF : Mur Est de la mine LAB Chrysotile à Thetford Mines

Abstract
Une rupture est survenue le 12 juillet 2012 sur le mur Est de la mine à ciel ouvert LAB Chrysotile à proximité du secteur Black Lake de la ville de Thetford Mines (Chaudière-Appalaches, Canada). Une surveillance numérique de surface LiDAR pré et post-rupture a permis de montrer que le glissement présentait un cycle d’activité sur une période de 2 ans : déplacements importants en été et stabilisation en hiver. Les données LiDAR ont ensuite été utilisées pour réaliser une étude structurale numérique, une analyse cinématique et une quantification des déplacements. Sur la base des analyses LiDAR, les propriétés géomécaniques du massif rocheux ont été déterminées par rétro-analyse 2D sur des profils de pente fidèles à la géométrie réelle. En s’appuyant sur les résultats précédents, une rétro-analyse 3D a été réalisée sur des modèles fidèles à la géométrie de la mine. Finalement, l’évolution du massif rocheux a été reconstituée de 2010 à 2012 en 3D.
