Abstract
Si William Morris ne peut être décrit comme un anarchiste stricto sensu, son débat avec les anarchistes de la Socialist League demeure une des clefs nécessaires à la compréhension de News from Nowhere, qui témoigne à la fois des convergences entre Morris et les anarchistes (anti-parlementarisme, communalisme) et de leurs désaccords profonds, notamment sur les questions de la violence révolutionnaire ou de la légitimité des majorités politiques.
