Abstract
Au Québec, on peut distinguer trois périodes dans la montée du militantisme étudiant dans les années 1960 : d’abord un fractionnement entre une multitude de groupes agissant dans une indifférence politique du milieu où le sentiment dominant est moins la colère que l’ennui. Pour répondre à cette insouciance le syndicalisme étudiant se radicalise dans les années 1960. Finalement au bout des années 1968, les grandes unions ont disparu, et la majorité des associations étudiantes sont dissoutes. Une parenthèse agitée de l’histoire du mouvement s’est refermée.
