Abstract

Simple sequence repeat (SSR) was used to determine the DNA genetic relationships in genetic marker line of upland cotton (Gossyypium hirsutum L.) TM-1 and their variation lines with the transferred hormone genes. 6 pairs of SSR primers were selected to determine the genetic diversity and genetic relationship from 25 pairs of primers. Total 18 alleles were found in 6 pairs of primers, and 13 loci of which were polymorphic, occupied 72.2% of total. Genetic similarity was analyzed for 42 progenies transferred with hormone genes, and a tree diagram and the SSR fingerprint was constructed based on the SSR markers. The result indicated that the similarity coefficient between 13 lines transfered with hormone gene and TM-1 was below 0.5, and the genetic relationships were discussed.
