Abstract
Este trabalho visou determinar o coeficiente de permeabilidade de uma zona da área de aluvião do Riacho dos Macacos, a qual está inserida dentro do Parque ecológico de Juazeiro do Norte. Para isto determinou-se os valores de condutividade hidráulica saturada (Ks) da área circunvizinha ao poço tubular número 17 (PT17) da Companhia de Água e Esgoto do Ceará (CAGECE) com o auxílio do Permeâmetro de Guelph. Nos resultados desta pesquisa, os valores de Ks que variaram entre 1,30 e 23,80x10-3 cm/s, mostraram-se consistentes para o tipo de solo da região indicando uma boa capacidade do aquífero em conduzir água sob a influência do gradiente de uma superfície potenciométrica.
