Cet article traite des transformations qu’entraîne le développement d’une activité d’entrepreneuriat touristique privé (casas particulares, paladares) au sein des familles transnationales à Cuba. Il s’agit, d’une part, de montrer comment le tourisme est investi par les Cubains de l’étranger, leur permettant de créer ou recréer des liens, à la fois matériels et affectifs avec le pays d’origine, notamment par la mobilisation d’un capital spécifique. D’autre part, il convient de s’interroger sur la manière dont le développement d’une activité touristique modifie directement le quotidien et l’intimité de familles dispersées. Si le développement d’une activité touristique peut être directement perçu comme une activité choisie et stratégique selon une logique d’internationalisation de la famille (dans un contexte migratoire où l’ouverture cubaine reste limitée), il peut aussi devenir un facteur de la dispersion familiale ainsi que la condition de son fonctionnement.
