Abstract
Cet article montre que le modèle de management choisi par une entreprise a un impact sur les stratégies identitaires de ses salariés. Des donneurs d’ordres occidentaux francophones demandent aux salariés de quatre centres d’appels offshore en Tunisie de se faire « passer » pour des salariés français même s’ils sont en réalité tunisiens. Ces salariés développent des stratégies identitaires pour gérer la tension forte entre cette identité imposée et leur identité personnelle. En utilisant le cadre conceptuel des modèles de management, cet article montre que les stratégies identitaires des salariés varient en fonction du modèle de management choisi par leur entreprise.
