Le rôle des proximités dans la construction des registres de la confiance à travers le cas des relations mairie-usagers citoyens

Abstract
La confiance et son corollaire la défiance sont au coeur du lien qui unit les citoyens avec leurs institutions et les hommes et les femmes qui les dirigent. Pour autant, comme le confirment de nombreuses études, les citoyens français ont une bien meilleure confiance dans leurs institutions publiques locales et particulièrement la mairie. La proximité jouerait un rôle important dans la construction de la confiance entre les habitants et leur mairie. En nous adossant aux résultats du Baromètre du Service Public Municipal que nous avons élaboré et portant sur un échantillon de 1010 répondants français, notre article identifie des liens fragiles entre la proximité et la confiance accordée aux services publics municipaux. Ces liens diffèrent notamment selon la nature de la proximité institutionnelle, relationnelle ou organisationnelle.
