Abstract
Fluoride boosts the oxidase-like activity of hydrolyzed Ce( <sc>iv</sc> ) but inhibits the activity of Ce( <sc>iv</sc> ), allowing intentional hydrolysis to be performed for consistent analysis of Ce( <sc>iv</sc> ).
