Medyczny w Katowicach StreSzczenieW artykule przedstawiono przegląd piśmiennictwa obejmującego badania nad udziałem reaktywności autoimmunologicznej w patofizjologii astmy oskrzelowej.Badania na ten temat dotyczą przede wszystkim astmy niealergicznej, późno zdiagnozowanej, o ciężkim przebiegu, z częstymi zaostrzeniami wymagającymi stosowania glikokortykosteroidów systemowych.Zwrócono również uwagę na współwystępowanie astmy i chorób autoimmunologicznych.Słowa kluczowe autoreaktwność, astma ciężka, współistnienie astmy i chorób autoimmunologicznych. abStractThe data regarding the role of autoimmuniy in asthma patomechanism has been reviewed.The issue mainly concerns the patients with severe, late onset, nonallergic asthma with the history of frequent exacerbation requiring systemic corticosteroids.In the context of the problem discussed the coexistence/mutual exclusion of autoimmune diseases in mentioned.key wordS autoimmunity, severe asthma, coexistence of asthma and autoimmune diseases.
